i saw someone post the same question and the answers are good but mostly they're for face acne. My problem is back acne...i'm having breakouts on my back (specifically between the shoulder blades). I tried neutrogena body wash but it only made it worse. i also have dark scars from the acne and it's making my back look dirty...i need a treatment/medication that not only treats acne but heals/erases the scars as well...and immediately! specially now it's summer and i can't wear a swimsuit because my back looks blotchy...help!What are good (immediate) treatments for back acne?
I had back ance and I got rid of it by using St. Ives invigorating scrub every other day. then everyday i used neutrogena bar soap, neutrogena clear pore astringent, cetaphil lotin, and then put on clear and clear advantage spot treatment directly on the pimples. that cleared up my skin along with excersize and lots of water. it took a while to clear up though so it's not immediate and it didn't get rid of a lot of the scars, those will fade over time and they get better the more your in the sun but don;t get sunburned that will just make it worse. also try sleepign on you stomach or sides to take the pressure off of your back at night. hope that helpsWhat are good (immediate) treatments for back acne?
neutrogena body wash
I found the most effective way to remove or lighten scars without spending too much money and yet experience great results.

I had the same problem, and I used apple cider vinegar. It seems crazy but it helps. And toothpaste. I ended up going to a dermatologist and I got this cream and I'm pretty much clear in about a month so, if it doesn't get better go see a pro. so u don't keep suffering. Summer should be funnn!
I used to have a really bad back acne problem. I tried a few well-acclaimed and advertised treatment wash and cream for pimples and acne. Nothing worked. Out of desperation, I looked for soap for skin problems, infections, etc.. and I tried ';Polytar'; which I bought from Guardian Pharmacy. The package does not indicate that it could heal pimples and acne, it says it treats skin problems like eczema, etc. But I tried it anyway. It did not work overnight but my back was cleared of acne in reasonable time. Until today, my back is free from acne breakouts. Pimple marks are very light and almost gone. I still use it for prevention.
And yes, I went to a skin specialist who gave me antibiotics for long term use and also Keratin A cream, and those did not work either, for your information
I know this might sound weird, but regular toothpaste really helps clear it up. It drys the acne out.
i will suggest you to use a brand new product in USA: oslee sleeping masks, this is a good product that is new in USA, it calls sleeping masks, it has 5 different species: Whitening sleeping mask, Oil Controlling Sleeping Mask, Dark Circle Reducing Sleeping Mask, Pore-Refining Sleeping Mask and Clear Spa Sleeping Mask Advanced Formula. This sleeping mask is like a gel, you can put some of the sleeping masks on your face before you sleep and then wash it the next day. i used it and it really improve my skin problems like: acne and black head. The sleeping masks are a very fabulous product that can save a lot of time for women because you just use your sleeping time to take care your skin that why i share with all of you but the only way i can buy them are on ebay and also the are under $10 so they are very cheap, hopefully you will try them and solve your skin problems
here is the link for the cheaper sleeping masks but she only have two species of the sleeping masks:

Yes toothpaste does work, put it on at night on the zit of pimple and wash it off in the morning. You can try clearisil ultra it claims that 100 % people saw clearness in a day (clearisil ultra vanishing acne cream). But bad side to it is that clearisil ultra dries out your skin to get the zit or pimple to go away. after your skin dries it reproduces a lot of oils which can cause more break outs. You can also try Pro Active (i use that) or murad (i heard it works), but those two things might only be found in America . the best thing to do is see a dermatologist, but theyll probably only recommend benzoil poroxide, and nuetrogena (those two things take time to work)
Pee into a diper then rub it on the area, the acid will make it go away :) it works!
see a dermatologist then he/she will give you pills that should help it.. it isn't the most immediate but my brother had back acne and he went to the dermatologist, got some pills and perscription cream (the cream was for his face, not his back), and the break outs were less common. Hope this helps!!!
Nat ;-)
