if the acne is mild and you've only had it a short time... go to any retail store and pick up some body wash made for acne... Neutrogena makes one... use it once it twice a day... also get some Benzoyl peroxide cream and spread that on your chest %26amp; shoulders, ect. Once a day...
If these tips do not help... See a dermatologist... There are Antibiotic foams, sprays, and creams that are made especially for the back and chest... They are easy to apply... Also the doc can prescribe an oral antibiotic that will treat the back acne from the inside out...

I've had acne for several years. My dermatologist recently prescribed doxycycline for me. I use 2 other topical acne creams, but the thing that really cleared my chest and back was the doxycycline. Doxycycline is an oral medication that inhibits the growth of bacteria which may help acne. People say that doxycycline gave them an upset stomach or other side effects, but I didn't experience anything. My back and chest haven't been this clear in years.
You may want to see a dermatologist and see what they recommend, but I'd ask about doxycycline.
