I had a bit of acne on my forehead and I asked my doctor if there was any treatment she could prescribe, and she gave me a cream - but my mum didn't let me use it because she didn't want to take a risk if I had a reaction :( But ask your doctor after she examines the acne and they can prescribe your sister some cream which she should test for a reaction on the inside of her elbow (trick I learned a little while back) and then apply as instructed.

It is important not to try and squeeze spots as this can leave a scar. I would also recommend that she cleans her forehead for grease with natural soap in the morning and evening and if she wears bangs (a fringe) to cover it then she should sleep with it pinned up so that the acne is not covered as it will get greasy easier. Also, when she is at home she should pin it up or use a headband.Help! effective acne treatment?
Lemons work reallly good,

theirs this product you can get at walmar i forgot what its called it starts with a b, but it works verryyyyyy good;)

you put it on every night and when you wake up just wash it off and the acne gets smaller every time, just go to walmart and have a pharmacist help you :)
oh this acne has depressed me a lot of times but i tell you this ; apply toothpaste on to the acne and wash off after it dries and see the difference it did work for me. or if it doesn't ( although i doubt it doesn't)

use clean n clear anti pimple cream. i hope it helps you
Is she getting good nutrition as well?

I've started taking these hair, skin, and nail vitamins and supplements and it's working, as long as I remember to take them. Ask your mom about that, it wouldn't hurt.
First, I understand where you're coming from. I grew up with really bad acne, not only on my face but on my body as well. It was embarrassing and I tried everything including cleansers, creams, prescription medications, antibiotics, over the counter medications, and even shots from the dermatologist (ouch!) to get rid of it. I never did until many years later when it didn't matter as much.

Here's what I found out after lots of research and trial and error, the hard way.

It's not a topical issue, it doesn't help much to treat it from the outside, it's an inside job. When you treat it from the outside it's like treating the symptoms, not the cause. You'll hear from many people that's not the case, and it's usually because they want you to buy their creams or lotions, and keep buying them month after month after month (or they haven't experienced the truth). Of course, when you stop using it (as you've experienced) your blemishes come back... because you're not treating the cause. And the costs for all of these routines/drugs add up month after month.

If you think about it logically, it makes sense. Why do we get rashes, breakouts, or other skin irritations? It's usually because of something we ate, something that wasn't meant to be put on our skin, something that caused us stress and our body reacts to all those things.

Bottom line is that most every cause of acne is related to what you eat, how you feel and how you take care of yourself. Your skin is a reflection of what's on the inside. We have lots of toxins building up in our systems and they have to be cleaned out on the inside and that will reflect on the outside. The blemishes, rashes, acne, etc are indications that your body is reacting to what you're eating, to stress, toxins, chemicals, hormones... literally a great number of things.

Basically what I did in a nutshell was clean out my system by taking out the processed and junk foods, and added as much fresh fruits and vegetables to my diet as possible. This part is key. I also started drinking a lot of water daily, starting with 3 or 4 glasses when I wake up (adding a squeeze of fresh lemon at times). I also got more active every day, walking, running, sports, jumping, whatever, just getting active. It not only gave me more energy, it help flush out the toxins that were clogging up my system.

Did you know 90% of acne is caused by 3 major factors? Find out exactly what

they are and how easily it is to solve them here http://topsecretacnevolution.blogspot.co…
Hey,

Acne sucks. I know how ya feel. But, you shouldn't let it get the best of ya. If you keep getting depressed about it, it will just make it worse. That's what happened to me. I tried proactiv and everything else. It just made it worse. But as of now, it has cleared up and I sometimes get 1 to 2 zits the most out of the week but it goes away within a day.

First thing, do not TOUCH it. Don't prick it or anything you'll just make it worse and spread it more around the face.

Eat right and drink tons of water. I've completely stopped drinking soda and all that other crap. It does help but it's hard.

I always wash my face in the morning and at night. Try not to touch your face too much during the day.

It took awhile for me to clear up. But, it was worth it.

First I use a Tea Tree Oil Soap on my face. Gently scrub your face. Then I rinse off, then use Oatmeal bar soap, which has the oats in the soap. This scrubs your face, removing dead skin cells and making it soft. Then I use Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Blemish Stick on the problem spots. I'm telling you that blemish stick works wonders. Apply that 3 times a day or twice, you will notice your blemish diminish. None of these products have harsh chemcials, It is all organic and can be found at Trader Joes or any other organic store.

It worked for me. You can try it out and see, but does take time.
