What are some effective acne treatments?

Any suggestion is helpful-natural or medication

Is Proactiv as good a treatment as it is said to be?

Thanx in advance! What are some effective acne treatments?
Proactiv is the best. Check out their site. A lot of celebrities use them; Vanessa Williams, Serena Williams, Jessica Simpson, Sean Puffy Combs, and many others, and their faces all look grand.

The Proactiv庐 Solution Story: Eight years ago, two dermatologists developed what they believed was a medical breakthrough in fighting acne. They called it Proactiv Solution -';proactive'; because the formulas could heal existing blemishes, and proactively help prevent new ones from forming. The two doctors, Katie Rodan and Kathy Fields, had a mission: to help millions of people put acne in the past. Today, Proactiv Solution is the #1-selling acne system in America...but you won't find it in stores.

So how did Proactiv Solution become a word-of-mouth phenomenon? And why are thousands of people like you...to superstars like Vanessa Williams and Stephanie Seymour...calling us to talk about it? Because it works.

Stay away from using Noxema,it's not good! It is treated with Noxel, which aggravates more of your skin's problem in healing; my dermatologist told me that when I was back in junior high school many moons ago. You could try Neutrogena which is ph balance and will not aggravate your breakouts and it smells good too. They have an entire line of facial cleansing products and a very delightful bath and shower gel, yummy! It's soooo good! Love it! Makes your skin so soft. That's my favorite of all to use for cleansing, but for blemishes, get Proactiv, it's the best and guaranteed to work.

Hope this helps you. What are some effective acne treatments?
Im not sure about Proactive. But I believe in a line called Warm Spirit. Its all natual herbal products that heal all kind of skin irritations and products. Along with other fabulous products. Check out their site. I used the Kindness cream on a pimple and the next morning it was gone! Seriously good stuff.

www.warmspirit.com.
Proactive is good, but try ProAcne at wal-mart. It's a cheaper version and it works just as good.
You should find an acne treatment that can actually target the causes of acne and keep those blemishes under control with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients to prevent outbreaks.

Most products and acne treatments are comedogenic, and have fragrances and this makes them unsuitable for all skin types, from oily to sensitive.

MenScience offers the best scientifically-developed antibacterial, exfoliating and soothing acne treatment that provides visible results. It reduces existing acne and maintains acne blemish control with proven ingredients that won鈥檛 leave skin irritated as they decrease acne-causing bacteria and promote a clear complexion.
Here is a great recipe for you. This seems to balance the acids in your system and really helps. I have seen it help many people.

1 can of frozen orange juice concentrate

1 can of frozen grapefruit juice concentrate

3 T cream of tartar

3 T Epsom salt

3 fresh lemons

Mix all thoroughly (make sure all salt is dissolved)

Freeze 1/2 of the mix, refrigerate rest.

Drink 1 oz in the morning, and another 1 oz in the evening.
I have used Proactiv and it does work, but I have heard that the best thing is a bar of white Dove soap and a white washcloth. Don't use a washcloth or product with dyes because they can cause irritation. Neutrogena is always very reliable.
Try Natures Cure. It comes with pills and a blemish cream. It works wonderfully and is 100% natural!

i had a cousin that used it and she had acne really bad and it worked for her she went from pimples and red face to no pimples or redness at all and she lived in texas where really hot and humid so i would say yes also try apricot srub from st ives
I suggest going to see a dermatologist. Then they can perscribe something for you that will best fit your skin type. Honey also works well. I put nutmeg and cinnamon in honey and put a mask of it on my face for an hour when i'm broken out, and it seems to help.
hell yes i'll never stop using proactive you need to try the 30 trail kit for only 19.95 + shopping and hannding and if if doest help you can get your moeny back but i doubt it it rules i love it i been using it snice 6 grade in in the 10 th girl i lov eit yes it really works nothings better it helped me ...trust me i love it todeath it wonk hurt nothing just to try it
I tried Proactive it didnt work for me as well Murad or any other products sold on tv. Right now i am using Mario Badescu's line and its working for me along with some facials which i will start next week my skin should be completely clear. You can buy this at Nordstroms or on his website. http://www.mariobadescu.com/
Proactiv is a good product, my twin used it on his skin. but if you're looking for a cheaper method try using St Ive's products they work great on acne prone skin and it wont dry out your skin either
proactiv really works
if your acne isnt that severe then try clean and clear persa- gel 5. works wonders

also use the face wash and toner.

good luck

p.s check out the website
PROACTIVE SISTA
My cousin uses Proactiv and her skin looks great! I use clean and clear. I use the Deep Clean Cream Cleanser (oil free) and the blackhead eliminating scrub in the shower. I then use the Deep Clean astringent and the Dual Action (oil free) Moisturizer. I love it.
Stop using a tooth paste with whiteners in it. My niece had a terrible case of acne and her mom heard about leaving off the whitening tooth paste. She tried it and it really helped. She is so happy now and doesn't shy away from the camera like she used too. This may not work for everyone, but it did for her. Good luck~
Proactiv is great!
Clearisil in the orange and purple bottle is great. It does not overdry your skin and leaves it feeling refreshed.
